THE SINKING OF SANTA ISABEL is about a man at a dead end in life who decides to move back to his hometown and live in a treehouse for the summer. Along the way he befriends a precocious youngster and the mailman, falls in love with the girl next door, and finds out that sometimes what matters most is not how you live but where you live.
